Our guest today is Kingsley Day, the author of Music’s Guiding Hand: A Novel Inspired by the Life of Guido d’Arezzo, a Benedictine monk who is regarded as the inventor, or by some, the developer, of the modern staff notation in music—though his birthdate is somewhere around 990CE and his birthplace, possibly Tuscany, possibly Ferrara—are all up for question. So, it will be great to learn what Kingsley learned from his own research.
