Our guest today is W.A.W. Parker, the author of The Judicious Use of Intangibles: A Novel Based on the Life of Pietro Belluschi, an Italian architect and leader of the modern movement in architecture. He worked largely in the US in response to the rise of Benito Mussolini. Belluschi designed over a thousand buildings in a career that culminated in his becoming the dean of architecture at MIT, better known as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
